The annular solar eclipse -- an eclipse in which the sun and moon are in alignment, although the sun can still be seen as a bright ring around the moon -- will take place on Sunday, May 20 at 5:21 p.m.
Viewing the eclipse with the naked eye can cause serious and permanant eye damage. Safe viewing requires the use of of either a pinhole projector or lenses specially-designed for viewing eclipses.
