We should at least respect her status
YourVoice: How sad that First Lady Michelle Obama and Second Lady Jill Biden were booed when they were introduced at the NASCAR race. Nobody says you have to like them or what their husbands propose, but you should at least respect their status. It is the height of ignorance that some in the audience displayed. I'm glad that Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Biden held their heads high.

The booing was despicable
YourVoice: Regarding the booing of our first lady, I think it's despicable and blatantly disrespectful and obviously came from Republicans attending the event. I am an independent that has voted both republican and democrat in the past. After the past three years I have started a new party: anti-republican. You can't lay on the train tracks and then complain that the train isn't moving. Even if you think it's going in the wrong direction. No movement is never good for anyone!

What happened to respect for our fellow man?
YourVoice: I don't understand what happened to respect for our fellow man. Is booing the First Lady and Jill Biden the things we want to teach our children. This society is on a downhill track towards total disrespect for one another as human beings. No matter what your political views, we still need to have respect for each other.
