General Motors has issued a recall notice to owners of various GM and Isuzu vehicles because of a potential fire hazard. In a news release, GM says the recall involves about 250,000 midsize SUVs sold in 20 states and Washington, D.C. The problem is related to fluid that can get inside the driver's door module and lead to a short in the circuit board. GM says that could cause the power locks and windows to fail, and in very rare cases, it could cause a fire. No known crashes or injuries are related to the issue.
