Internet Safety Town Hall

Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and Facebook will host an interactive discussion for parents, students, school administrators, and the community to discuss internet safety and to raise awareness of bullying issues from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Green Valley High School, 460 Arroyo Grande Blvd., Henderson.

Doors open at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, however the public is encouraged to RSVP online at

Topics to be discussed include how to report, prevent and diffuse instances of bullying, cyber predators, sexting; legal consequences of bullying/sexting; Facebook privacy settings/age restrictions; and how to use these tools for better protection.

VegasPBS will live stream the event here. Those who are not able to physically attend the event or tune in to the live stream will be able to view the video by following this link.
