City of Las Vegas seeks qualified lifeguards for summer jobs

The city of Las Vegas has immediate openings for certified lifeguards and water safety instructors.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess current certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR and automated external defibrillator use.

If someone is not yet certified but interested in becoming a seasonal or career lifeguard, the city offers pre-lifeguarding skills and American Red Cross lifeguarding courses.

Those interested in applying for a lifeguarding job should call the Municipal Pool at (702) 229-6309 to schedule an interview and tryout, or applications are being accepted online at www.lasvegasparksandrec.com.
