The Drug Enforcement Administration has partnered with local law enforcement and Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy for
Operation Medicine Cabinet, in conjunction with the Administration’s fifth National Drug Take Back Day.
Unused and expired drugs may be dropped off anonymously and with no-questions-asked for safe disposal during the one-day, drive-through event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the following locations:
LVMPD Northwest Area Command – 9850 W Cheyenne Ave.
LVMPD Enterprise Area Command – 6795 W. Windmill Lane
Henderson Police Department – Galleria Mall, 1300 W Sunset Road, #1129
North Las Vegas PD Washburn Station – 3755 W Washburn Road
Nellis AFB BX – 5930 Rickenbacker Road
Boulder City - 401 California Ave.
Pauite Tribal Police – 6 Pauite Drive
To help curb the misuse and abuse of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, all southern Nevada residents are encouraged to participate.
Since its launch in February 2010, Operation Medicine Cabinet has collected more than 10 million oral doses of medications in southern Nevada, helping keep them out of the wrong hands.
