Choking fears force the recall of about 70,000 children's books.

A metal rod holds beads on the cover of the books, "Count My Kisses, 1, 2, 3" and "Red, Green, Blue, I love you."

The book is designed with rod and beads. However, the rod can break and cut a child. Furthermore, the beads can spill and are small enough to choke a child.

The books were sold nationwide and online from June through August.

Visit "Hachette Book Recall"website for refund information.
