Three Square Food Bank and its program partners offer Summer Food Service Program now through Aug. 23 in an effort to ensure that children have access to nutritious meals during their extended vacations when free and reduced meals are not available.

Funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by Nevada's Department of Education Office of Child Nutrition and School Health, the program serves children 18 years of age and younger in low-income areas nutritious meals during the summer.

SFSP is a collaborative effort between Three Square, the Culinary Academy, SFSP sponsors, SFSP sites such as YMCA and the Clark County School District, among others. With more than 40 sites opened around the valley this year, locations include recreation centers, libraries, schools, community pools, faith based organizations, day camps and housing complexes.
