I have a lot of respect for Mr. Jones, I think he is on the right track, but to hang the repair of schools on homeowners was wrong. How can anyone hang one segment of the population responsible and accountable for repairing our public schools, what about the rest of the county???? If the measure was written to raise the sale tax .05%, I would have voted yes, because every citizen in Clark County would share the responsibility, it would raise more tax revenue, and it was the right thing to do. I wish the school district would study and know its audience, it would save time and money.
