HENDERSON, Nev. -- Coral Academy of Science, Sandy Ridge, will be holding an assembly hosted by Nevada Attorney General, Catherine Cortez Masto on Thursday, August 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Cortez Masto will engage in an interactive discussion for parents, students and school administrators on how to discuss, report,prevent and diffuse instances of bullying and cyber predators. She will also speak about the legal consequences of bullying and sexting.
The assembly has been created to give students, parents, teachers and administrators the tools to reduce bullying behavior through the blending of school-wide positive behavioral supporting explicit instructions, and a redefining the bullying construct.

"This is an opportunity for us all to learn new behavior skills and attitudes in dealing with this difficult subject added Aydogdu. AG Masto is a staunch supporter of ant bullying measures and has been proactive in cracking down on bullying statewide. With AG Masto’s guidance and support we will learn new steps to combat bullying while ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment at Coral Academy of Science.”
Coral Academy of Science is located at 1051 Sandy Ridge Avenue, Henderson, Nevada 89052. The meeting will take place in the Multi-Purpose room, building Aat 5:30. Parents, Students and teachers are invited.
