Assemblyman wins seat despite being ineligible

LAS VEGAS (KSVN & MyNews3) -- A judge declares an assembly candidate ineligible to run in the 11th hour but he's voted in anyway.

News 3's Mackenzie Warren is looking into what happens next for Andrew Martin. Nevada law says an assembly members' term starts the next day after their election.

So today Democrat Andrew Martin is a brand new assemblyman. But it's complicate and now Republicans are promising Martin won't have his seat for long.
