LAS VEGAS -- A 21-year-old bicyclist died from his injuries from a collision with a Saturn on Monday afternoon.
Early investigation indicates that on Monday Nov. 12 at approximately 2:15 p.m. Brandon Ochrach, 21, from Perris, Calif., was traveling on a bicycle eastbound across Jones Boulevard on the north side of the intersection with northbound US-95 off/on ramps.
A 2003 green Saturn passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on Jones Boulevard approaching intersection with northbound US-95 off-ramp.
Ochrach crossed the raised median, the inside travel lane of Jones Boulevard northbound and into the path of the Saturn where the he was struck.
He was transported to the University Medical Center but he succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at 1:12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13.
The 18-year-old driver of the Saturn was not injured.
