LAS VEGAS -- A man has been found dead in a homeless encampment near a bike path behind the Siegel Suites in the 3600 block of Boulder Highway.
The body was reported shortly before 4 p.m., said Metro watch commander Lt. Jack Clements.
"It is in some sagebrush inside what looks like a homeless encampment and right now we are just protecting the scene until detectives and people from the coroner's office can arrive and check the scene," Clements said.
