LAS VEGAS (Las Vegas Sun) -- A car involved in a three-vehicle accident on the Las Vegas Strip slammed into a bus stop near the Circus Circus casino Friday afternoon, Metro Police said.
No pedestrians were injured, but the driver of one of the vehicles was transported to Valley Hospital Medical Center, Metro Police Officer Laura Meltzer said.
“One of the drivers possibly had a medical episode, either right before or as a result of the accident,” Meltzer said. “It doesn’t appear any other people are being transported to the hospital.”
The accident occurred about 2 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard, near Riviera Boulevard, police said. Information was not available about the number of passengers, if any, in the vehicles or if it was the driver who hit the bus stop who was taken to the hospital.
