LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Eight riders suffered minor injuries Saturday afternoon when a car turned in front of a Cat bus at West Sahara Avenue and South Arville Street.
Metro reported the bus was in the bus lane westbound on Sahara about 1 p.m. when the car turned in front of the bus and was hit in the rear end.
"Apparently the driver of the car didn't think the bus was moving, but it was," Lt. Glen Lowe, Metro watch commander, said. "The bus turned the corner and hit the car in the rear."
Eight bus riders suffered minor injuries. Some were transported to an area hospital, Lowe said. The driver of the car was not injured.
