I don't get our city and county leaders, they want to hit homeowners. Why should homeowners be responsible for everything that warrants tax money, why not raise sale tax if you need money. Homeowners are just a small part of the population but they seem to be carrying the weight when it comes to taxes. If city and county leaders were responsible when it comes to tax payers money, there wouldn't be an issue. City and county leaders need to watch California and see how their tax increase fair. The state of Illinois raise tax 60% at every level and they still were unable to pay its bills, and have not been funding their state retirement system.

One other thing while I'm at it. I'm a republican and I voted for sandoval. He has become the wimpiest governor in the country. He's afraid of the federal govt, He can't say no to the public unions or anything else!!!! He just keeps signing these nanny laws and tax increases that our state legislature comes up with. I know its 2 years away, make sure they signed the NO TAX PLEDGE before you mark thier spot at the ballot box!!!!!! These are the politicians who make tough decisions, not raise taxes because its easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets not forget the half million dollar study on the strip just to figure out how to clean it up, that was a waste of money. I say our city and county politicians go down there and sweep it up to make that money back they wasted!!!! I'm sure there is alot of money wasted on some of thier stupid ideas. Because they don't have any idea how to do something, just hire someone else to figure it out!!! Why were they elected!!!!!

Time for a recall on every one of these tax raising nazis!!!!!!!! I don't vote for anyone unless they sign the no tax pledge from grover norquist!!!!!!! Time everyone started using this as a GOOD reason to vote for someone!!!!! Especially our tax raising legislators in the state who keep imposing the temporary SIX HUNDRED MILLION DOLLAR SUNSET TAX. That includes our governor who said he wouldn't raise taxes if elected, although he passed the 600 million dollar sunset tax hike last legislature and plans on doing it again this year. Let them use the 600 million TEMPORARY sunset tax!!!!!!! This tax should have been eliminated 2 years ago. How much you want to bet that these crap politicians make this a permanent tax instead of reducing costs like other states have!!!!!!!

The people you supposedly hire to look after your best interests are quite full of themselves. Maybe if we begin by reducing their wages we'll get somewhere.

So, in other words why do we even waste our gas to go to voting places. Seems like it doesn't matter how we vote because they will just do what they want. IS THIS A DEMOCRACY???

If they attempt to raise taxes without the peoples support then they haven't learned a thing from history. They will be removed from office, forcefully if necessary.
