Gov. Brian Sandoval today announced that he has appointed Troy Dillard as director of the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles
, effective immediately.
“Troy has done an exceptional job serving the citizens of Nevada as interim director of the DMV,” Sandoval said in a news release. “Troy is respected throughout the department and worked diligently with legislators during the most recent legislative session. I am pleased he has agreed to continue to serve our state in this manner.”
Dillard, a former administrator of the Department of Motor Vehicles’ Compliance Enforcement Division, has been serving as interim director since November.
Dillard has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Science from the University of Nevada Reno and graduated from Mineral County High School. -- From news release
