Detectives asking public’s help identifying kidnapping suspect

LAS VEGAS -- Metro detectives are asking for help identifying a male suspected of kidnapping a female juvenile in northwest Las Vegas on March 27.

A female juvenile was walking near the intersection of Centennial Parkway and North Fort Apache Road at approximately 2:45 p.m. when she was forced into a newer model dark blue Chrysler 300 with tinted windows by a male suspect.

The suspect is described as an unknown race male, 25 to 30 years of age, standing approximately 6-feet tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds with a muscular build.

Authorties have distrbuted a composite sketch of the suspect.

The suspect is further described as having brown skin with short, black hair worn in a spiked style. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and black jeans.

The juvenile was able to escape from the vehicle near the 9600 block of West Tropical Parkway. She was not injured during the incident.
