LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Easing the burden on local schools in southwest Las Vegas is the goal for the Clark County School Board.

The District Zoning Commission met Tuesday morning and talked about some of the public comment and feedback.

The board is expected to make a final decision on March 6. Families in the Rhodes Ranch and Granada Hills neighborhoods would no longer be affected with this option.

The School District points out that with elementary schools gaining 700 students as of December, any action would be a short-term fix.

Simple, Remove all the "Anchor Babies" and you will have more room then needed. The failing Education system here might also improve... but I doubt it.
