LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Clark County coroner’s office released the identity of a man killed Monday night after his vehicle left a road and struck block walls in a neighborhood southeast of Vegas Valley Drive and Lamb Avenue.

David Williams, 45, of Las Vegas died of blunt head trauma, according to the coroner’s office.

Witnesses told Metro officers that Williams was driving at a high rate of speed eastbound on Ridgedale Avenue through the intersection of Ferndale Street around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

His car left the travel lane in a counterclockwise direction, ran off the road and struck the walls in the 4300 block of Ridgedale.
