LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Assemblyman Steven Brooks, who could be back in court today, finds himself in a little more trouble.
Anjeanette Damon, host of “To The Point” on News 3, reported that Brooks was kicked out of a casino on Friday in Reno.
Sources say Brooks caused a scene at a restaurant and was kicked out of the Grand Sierra Resort.
Brooks said that it was all the "bad press" that caused him to be thrown out, saying one of the restaurant employees must have recognized him.
Brooks was arrested Feb. 10 during a domestic disturbance.
It stems from the troubling scene that unfolded with his wife, Ada. She has filed a temporary protection order.
According to a Metro police report, the confrontation began in their kitchen and the situation quickly got out of control. The report says Brooks, among other things, grabbed her by her hair and shook her back and forth.
It started after he asked her to make him coffee, according to the report, then escalated as he accused her of having affairs, which she denies.
