Estranged wife arrested in connection to I-15 shooting

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The wife of a local man who was shot while driving on Interstate 15 has been arrested in connection to that crime.

Amy Bessey, 42, also known as Amy Pearson, was arrested Friday on charges of attempted murder, battery and conspiracy to commit murder.

Her estranged husband, 49-year-old Robert Bessey, was shot in the neck Nov. 14 while driving on i-15 near the Valley of Fire.

His brother in-law, Richard Pearson, and his stepson, Michael Bessey, were both arrested and charged in the shooting last year.

Amy Bessey is being held at the Clark County Detention Center with a court appearance slated for Wednesday.
