LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Metro's SWAT team surrounded a home near Twain and Sandhill this afternoon after constables trying to evict a tenant were answered with what sounded like a gun shot.
Harris Elementary school was locked down until 3:30 p.m. SWAT found a man inside but did not find a gun. Police suspect something inside the house made the noise
Just before 1:10 p.m., a Las Vegas constable attempted to issue an eviction notice at a home in the 4900 block of Shadow Wood when the shot was fired.
Metro Office Laura Meltzer says homes in the area were evacuated.
