LAS VEGAS (AP) — The FBI is investigating after an agent shot a man during an arrest outside of a Las Vegas casino.
FBI agent Patrick Turner says the man was undergoing surgery at a hospital Thursday, but he didn't know the extent of his wounds.
Authorities say a task force had the man under surveillance, and at about 3 p.m. they moved to arrest him in the parking lot of Arizona Charlie's, just off the Boulder Highway, when an agent fired.
Turner says he has not yet been able to confirm whether the suspect was armed.
Turner says the man, whose name is not being released, is wanted for two counts of armed robbery and a pending murder charge.
