NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- North Las Vegas Fire officials are investigating a house fire on Perliter Ave. in North Las Vegas Monday afternoon.
Officials say the fire began just after 2 p.m. North Las Vegas and Clark County responded but were unable to save the home located at 3709 Perliter Avenue.
It took firefighters about 10 minutes to knock down the flames.
A 23-year-old man was home at the time and suffered minor injuries and was transported to University Medical Center to be evaluated.
Red Cross has been called to help the family who lived in the home. There is no information as to the cause of the fire.
