LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Clark County firefighters were able to save adjacent residences early today when an abandoned double-wide modular home on the east side of the valley sustained $100,000 in damage.
Clark County firefighters responded about 4:30 a.m. to 3632 Montego Drive and encountered a fully involved, double-wide modular home.
Homes adjacent to the structure were also threatened. A neighbor stated that the residence was abandoned.
It took firefighters about 15 minutes to get knockdown due to the volume of fire. All structures surrounding the home were saved.
No victims were reportedly inside, however, extensive damage has limited access to a thorough investigation of the structure.
No firefighter injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $100,000. The cause is under investigation.
