Health community spreads HIV and AIDS awareness

LAS VEGAS (KSVN) -- HIV and AIDS can affect all of us but health experts say the African-American community is hit hardest by the epidemic.

Today is National Black HIV and AIDS Awareness Day.

As News 3's Sergio Avila shows us, for many local support groups, today is the day to get out a message of awareness.

It's all about getting the word out that you need to get tested because early detection of HIV and AIDS saves lives.
