LAS VEGAS -- A domestic dispute turned tragic Saturday when apparently three members of a family were shot -- two fatally -- in a residence in northeast Las Vegas.
Metro officers responded shortly before 6 p.m. to a call about a violent confrontation inside a home in the 4600 block of Metpark Drive near Stewart and Lamb. They found three individuals, two males and a female, suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the men was deqad at the scene. The other male and the female were transported to an area hospital where the female was later pronounced deceased. The second male is being treated for his injuries.
The investigation by LVMPD Homicide Detectives determined the shooting to be the result of a domestic dispute. It is believed the male who died at the scene and the female who later died at the hospital were married, and the second injured male was also a family member.
The identity of the deceased, and the exact cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers by phone at 385-5555, or on the internet at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
