Information from witnesses lacking in teen's homicide

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Metro is asking for the public’s help in finding the person who killed a 14-year-old boy at a birthday party on Saturday.

Witnesses at the party have not been forthcoming.

The shooting happened at an apartment complex near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway.

Police say about 20 gunshots were fired into a crowd of people as they were leaving.

Haji Mohamed, 14, was killed, and an 18-year-old was injured.

Police say about 100 people were at the party and more than 40 people were interviewed.

I would of took everyone at the party in as a suspect. Its too late now but a gun power residue test should of been conducted on everyone.
