LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Authorities with the Nevada State Health Division continue to look into the case of a California man found dead outside UMC on Oct. 17.
Jason Forrester, 43, was in town visiting his girlfriend, who lives in Henderson.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says Forrester was involved in a crash on the I-15 on Oct. 16 and was rushed to the hospital.
He called his girlfriend and said he was being released from UMC and would take a cab back to her apartment. When he didn't show up, she filed a missing person report with Metro.
Hospital staff discovered his body early the next morning outside the trauma center.
