LAS VEGAS -- Registration for Safekey for the 2013-14 school year is now open.

Safekey is a before- and after-school recreational enrichment program that is offered at 68 Clark County School District elementary schools within the city of Las Vegas. Participants can look forward to another fun and exciting school year filled with CATCH Kids Club activities, games, crafts, theme weeks, contests, homework assistance, nutritious snacks and more.

Safekey follows the School District calendar and operates on days that school is in session. Program hours and cost vary by site. Financial assistance may be available for qualifying participants who live within the city of Las Vegas boundaries.

Safekey operates as a pre-paid program in which participants must have a valid pass before they can attend. Any child without a valid pass will be sent to the school’s office for parent pick-up. Payments will no longer be accepted at city Safekey school sites. Fees have changed to daily rates for both morning and afternoon passes. Refunds, credits and/or transfers will not be granted for the Safekey program.

There will be an annual $10 Safekey registration fee per child.
