LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- It's a deal that could drastically change both the city of Las Vegas and its neighbor to the north: two cities sharing services in an attempt to save cash and expand business.
After months of conversation, mayors of both Las Vegas and North Las Vegas have a tentative agreement to explore changes in the way they do business. They will pitch a plan to city councils to start an exploratory committee and look at the financial impact of combining certain departments.
Almost everything from economic development to parks is on the table. Councils will vote on the plan November 6th.
News 3 has been told public safety is not part of the deal.
