LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Just in time for Veterans Day, dozens of wounded vets from across the country are in Las Vegas for five days of well-deserved appreciation.

This is the third year MGM Resorts and the USO have organized this celebration. On Thursday, they brought 200 warriors and their families who really need a break to Las Vegas

After Wounded Warriors and their families got off the plane, the mirage was their first stop.

Earlier in the day they were in New York City and Washington D.C.

Some of these service members say they've been to Las Vegas before but say there's nothing like what they experienced today...

The Wounded Warriors and their families have entertainment, food and rooms taken care of through Monday.
