LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Gasoline prices are edging lower in the Las Vegas Valley, similar to the recent drop in prices across most of the country.
According to fuelgaugereport.aaa.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Las Vegas this morning was $3.75 and 4 tenths while the U.S. average was $3.67 and 7 tenths. The Las Vegas price is a drop of 4 cents from a week ago while the U.S. price is down 1.2 cents a gallon.
Some Las Vegas area stations have dipped below $3.60 a gallon.
Prices one year ago were an average of $3.93 and 4 tenths in Las Vegas and $3.99 and 9 tenths across the nation.
Currrently, the highest average price for a gallon of regular is $4.39 and 2 tenths in Hawaii while Wyoming has the lowest average in the nation at $3.32 and 9 tenths. The average price in California is $4.06 and 9 tenths.
