LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The man accused of trying to attack two little girls as they stood at their bus stop went before a judge today.

Abdul Jumaalkam, 20, was charged with lewdness with a child under the age of 14. Witnesses say Jumaalkam attempted to pull the girls’ pants down.

A bail hearing was set for 8 a.m. Wednesday. His preliminary hearing is set for late December.

The incident happened Nov. 14 at a bus stop near Arville and Sirius. The father of one of the girls also was standing at the bus stop.

He told News 3 he tried to hold Jumaalkam down until police got there.
