LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities have identified a 38-year-old man found dead in his Las Vegas apartment by a friend who arrived to drive him to church.
The Clark County coroner said Monday that Esteban Meza Jr. of Las Vegas died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Las Vegas police say Meza's body was found a little after 11 a.m. Sunday at the Shelter Cove Apartment complex off Decatur Boulevard near Sahara Avenue.
His death is ruled a homicide. An assailant hasn't been identified.
