LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A man who suffered a gunshot wound Wednesday morning in a downtown Las Vegas parking lot has died.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a release that it received a call just before 5 a.m. that a man who had been shot walked into a business in the 1100 block of East Fremont Street.
Arriving patrol officers located the victim, who was transported by medical personnel to the UMC Trauma Center. He was later pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was shot in the rear parking lot of the business. The suspect could only be described as a black male wearing a dark colored jacket.
The identity of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
