LAS VEGAS -- Metro police is asking the public's help to locate John Collier, a man who suffers from Alzheimer's.
Collier was last seen walking in the area of Buffalo and Vegas in northwest Las Vegas at 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
Collier's family says he occasionally goes for walks and sometimes becomes disoriented. He may attempt to walk to a group home on Treeline in northeast Las Vegas.
Collier was last seen wearing tan baseball hat, green/plaid long sleeve button down shirt, blue jeans and gray/white New Balance shoes.
All hospitals are asked to check their registries for John Collier, or an 80-year-old John Doe matching the above description, and to notify police immediately if found.
Collier, 80, is described as having a medium build. He stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 220 pounds. He may be in need of medical attention.
