LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected in a pair of bank robbery attempts.
The first occurred Aug. 17 in the area of South Durango and Warm Springs Road. The second happened Wednesday in the area of South Fort Apache and Flamingo Road. Both banks were approached around 3:40 p.m.
In both events, the suspect presented a note demanding money to the teller. In both events, the suspect fled without any money.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 5-foot-5 to 5-8, weighing about 180 to 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white, full-rimmed, fisherman-style hat, collared shirt, camouflage colored shorts and white shoes.
