LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- With more than 100,000 people passing through every day, McCarran International Airport can be a good place to do business.

Dozens are fighting for the chance to target that crowd.

About 75 potential business owners showed up to the Clark County Government Center on Tuesday night to learn the ins and outs of how to snag that sacred spot at the airport to sell their service, snack or product.

Clark County leaders call unique business plans necessary to succeed in an airport already filled with stores.

Some of the businesses the airport and Clark County leaders say they're not interested in are T-shirts and electronic accessories. They say they just have too many of them already.
