LAS VEGAS -- Clark County School District Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky has named James McIntosh to the position of chief financial officer
The appointment is still pending confirmation by the Board of School Trustees at their meeting on Jan. 9, 2014.
"Jim McIntosh has been an integral part of CCSD's financial team for more than 14 years and has helped the district through some of the most challenging times in recent memory," said Superintendent Skorkowsky. "He is dedicated to ensuring the district is fiscally responsible and that we focus our resources on the needs of students and teachers in the classroom."
In addition to managing CCSD's $2.1 billion budget, the responsibilities of the chief financial officer position include leading the Budget and Accounting Departments, Demographics, Zoning and GIS, Finance, Real Property Management, Purchasing Department, Risk Management and Vegas PBS. McIntosh reports directly to Superintendent Skorkowsky.
McIntosh previously held the positions of deputy chief financial officer and accounting director during his time with CCSD.
The salary range for this position is $104,760 to $140,388.
