MESQUITE – The Mesquite Police Department has identified the suspects in Thursday’s officer-involved shooting.
Daniel Wesley Runyon, 40, of Richfield, Utah, is being charged with assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon (two counts), trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), conspiracy to violate uniform controlled substance act, ex-felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia (seven counts), and transporting a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Runyon is at UMC in stable condition.
The female passenger is identified as Tina Cornell, 48, of St George, Utah. She is being charged with trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine), conspiracy to violate uniform controlled substance act, possession of drug paraphernalia (seven counts), transporting a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Cornell was transported to the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.
