LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Metro and SWAT forces ended a four-and-a-half-hour standoff with an armed woman after responding to a domestic violence call near Cheyenne and the 215 this morning.
News 3’s Rob Munoz reports that the woman pointed a revolver at police as they entered her room. After police left the apartment and the situation escalated during negotiations with the woman, police called out the SWAT team.
The woman finally surrendered at 4:00 a.m.
The woman had a child in the apartment, and police say the woman will likely face charges of child endangerment and assault with a deadly weapon.
