Metro begins releasing non-fatal police shooting reports

LAS VEGAS (KSVN & MyNews3) -- In a new move toward transparency, the metro police department is releasing internal documents into non-fatal police shootings.

The first is from a shooting back in March. The report reveals sloppy tactics almost cost a metro police officer his life.

News 3's Mackenzie Warren is breaking down what went wrong and what worked.

The Department of Justice employees try to force "Sean Bell" style situations where they can kill suspects that have complained or criticized the D.o.J.. On this day 9/13/12 in Fremont Ca., a corrupt DEA tried to kill a suspect in the parking lot of a Walmart. They where planning on killing him in his car as he exited the parking lot.
