LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Metro detectives have identified a man sought for questioning in a Friday night shooting that killed one female and sent an elderly female to the hospital.
Metro investigators said the shooting occurred about 10:15 p.m. at the Canyon Point apartments in the 5400 block of East Harmon Avenue.
Patrol officers arrived to find the front picture window broken out. Two females were found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The younger of the two females died at the scene. A young juvenile was found uninjured inside the apartment.
Robert Brown Jr., 42, of Las Vegas is a person of interest in the crime. Brown and the deceased victim were dating. Brown is a white male about 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be driving a red 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with Nevada personalized plates "ARIYL."
The identity of the deceased and the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.
