LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A man is dead and another is fighting for his life after two shootings on the valley's east side Monday night.
The first shooting happened around 6:15 p.m. near Stewart and Lamb. Investigators say they found a man shot to death on the sidewalk.
Not long after, Metro officers got a call about another shooting at a nearby apartment complex. They arrived to find a man shot in the head.
He was taken to UMC in critical condition. Police believe the two shootings may be connected.
