LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- Metro officers are investigating a shooting and possible drug deal that may be related.

Lt. James Mizusaki told News 3 that officers in a Metro squad car noticed a car with bullet holes near Decatur and U.S. 95 about 3:40 p.m. Saturday.

"The officers saw three or four bullet holes and checked the driver and he had been hit in one or two places," Mizusaki said. "He was taken to UMC in serious to critical condition. He wasn't too cooperative."

About 40 minutes earlier, officers were called to J and Washington streets and a man said there had been a drug deal that went bad.

"We think we may have found a crime scene that puts the two events together, but we are still investigating," Mizusaki said.
