LAS VEGAS -- A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer was relieved of duty without pay following a June 14 summons for two felony counts of possession of controlled substance and obtaining multiple prescriptions without disclosure.

He subsequently pled guilty to the charges in Clark County Justice Court.
