LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Metro is still waiting for the coroner's office to determine if a motorcyclist who was killed this morning was under the influence.
The accident occurred before 3 a.m. at the intersection of Nellis and Owens.
Police say the motorcycle was speeding and slammed into the back of a white van while it was waiting at a red light.
The impact was so hard that it spun the van around 180 degrees. The driver is expected to be OK.
