WASHINGTON -- It's not every day a local TV news anchor gets to interview a sitting president -- it's even rarer for a local TV news anchor to interview the president twice.
News 3's Jim Snyder is the man with that distinction. Snyder is live from the White House with his report.
This morning President Obama made a new push for tax cuts.
In an event in the east room of the White House, the president said Republican calls for tax cuts for the richest Americans, Should not delay tax cuts for the middle class that both parties agree on.
Snyder was there for that event, and got to ask the president about his plans to help middle and low income Americans.
The administration's agenda for today is middle class tax-cuts and while Snyder did ask the President about his tax-cutting plan, Snyder started with health care.
While the Supreme Court supported the affordable care act a week and a half ago it was not a clear cut win for the Obama administration.\
The high court called the mandate that you have health insurance, the dreaded "T" word.
